Steps to Become a Girls Together Volunteer:
1. Discover Your Team
Explore our volunteer teams—Arts, Events, Fundraising, or Leadership Development—to find the role that best fits your interests and talents. Read each team’s purpose and tasks to choose where you’ll shine!
3. Welcome & First Assignment
Complete the volunteer registration form for your chosen team(s). Be sure to include any relevant skills or interests to help us match you with the perfect opportunities.

4. Start Volunteering
Begin contributing to meaningful projects and events. Collaborate with your team, connect with the community, and directly support Girls Together’s mission to combat period poverty and empower girls and women.
5. Log & Submit Your Hours
After completing your tasks, submit your work and request approval for your service hours through your team leader. They’ll verify your contributions and ensure everything is recorded.
Girls Together Volunteer Teams
Arts Team
Our Arts Team uses creativity to advocate for Girls Together’s mission. Volunteers design handmade or digital materials like cards for period product kits, educational infographics, and promotional posters for events. These creations help spread awareness and inspire action.

No prior art experience is required—just enthusiasm and a commitment to creating thoughtful designs. Volunteers should be willing to put effort into their work to ensure the highest quality for our campaigns and initiatives.
Once you join, your team leader will provide guidance and assign your first project.
Fundraising Team
The Fundraising Team ensures Girls Together can sustain its mission by organizing creative and community-focused fundraising efforts. Volunteers lead initiatives like bake sales, sponsorship outreach, and virtual campaigns that generate resources and support.

Events Team
Our Events Team plans and hosts impactful events that directly support Girls Together’s mission. From donation drives and leadership workshops to advocacy campaigns and community outreach, this team plays a vital role in making a tangible difference.

Leadership Development Team
The Leadership Development Team helps foster the next generation of leaders by organizing mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, and STEM initiatives for K-12 girls. Volunteers inspire and educate through activities like peer mentoring, career readiness events, and inviting guest speakers.
