Implementing AB224
We call on CCSD to fully implement AB224 by providing free, stocked menstrual product dispensers in all high school bathrooms.
The Issue: Despite AB224's passage in 2021, many CCSD schools remain non-compliant, causing educational disruptions, embarrassment, health risks, and stress for students.
Why This Matters.
Missed Classes
1 in 4 U.S. teens have missed school due to a lack of period supplies.
Stigma
Students may feel ashamed, skip activities, or leave early.
Health Risks
Limited access forces unsafe alternatives.
